Qi Fang Colbert originally trained in traditional pottery, qualifying with a BA and MA in Visual Design at Jiangnan University in China. Qi pushed her knowledge and practice further and gained a place on the PhD Practice – led Fine Art Course at Newcastle University, UK,
She is an active artist, ceramist, illustrator, art tutor and independent researcher working between art practice and academic research
