Clarissa creates abstracted paintings and prints informed by photographs taken around Hull; focusing on texture, pattern and small details. She prefers collagraph printmaking for its variety of textures and creating uniquely shaped printing plates. She experiments with paint; adding materials such as plaster or cement for textured effects.
